We’re delighted to announce that SHEDINBURGH FRINGE FESTIVAL will be back from

Tuesday 3rd August – Monday 30th August

The global shed-sation of 2020 will return for another packed edition of the best Fringe theatre, comedy, music & spoken word, plus this year we’re introducing a brand new SHEDINBURGH ORIGINALS script series & bringing you SHEDx talks from a few famous faces. Our month-long programme of one-night-only shows will be filmed live in specially built sheds at the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh and Soho Theatre in London, and streamed globally to Fringe fans around the world.

Our full line-up will be announced in July but until then… here’s a preview of some of the unique shed-based events we’ve got coming up at SHEDINBURGH 2021…

SHEDINBURGH MAIN PROGRAMME

A stellar programme of Fringe favourites performed by Fringe stars featuring new and unseen work alongside previous hits from the last decade.

SHEDINBURGH NEWCOMERS

A programme of shows from the most exciting up-and-coming artists, handpicked by our programming team in partnership with co-producers VAULT Creative Arts, producers of VAULT Festival.

SHEDINBURGH ORIGINALS

A series of one-off short pieces and original work created for the shed by some of the most exciting and high profile talent to come out of Edinburgh Fringe.

SHEDx

With a nod to TEDx, this will be a series of free-to-watch 10 minute talks from famous Fringe talent and industry leaders, all around the theme of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. A chance to reminisce, get inspired, and learn.
