BY WALRUS

The average person will speak 123,205,750 words in a lifetime. But what if there were a limit? Bernadette and Oliver are about to find out. The original cast return for a one-off reading of Sam Steiner’s hit play.

Walrus’ award-winning show, which played to sell-out audiences at the Fringe from 2015-17, imagines a world where we’re forced to say less; examining how we express ourselves, personally and politically, through the lens of one couple’s relationship. It’s about what we say and how we say it; about the things we can only hear in the silence; about dead cats, activism, eye contact and lemons, lemons, lemons, lemons, lemons.

“The brilliance of Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons is no secret” The Stage

“A beautiful play about the beauty and preciousness of language… about as promising as debuts get” Time Out

“Bright, light and sharp… a rom-com with smarts” What’s On Stage”

Written by Sam Steiner, Directed by Ed Madden
Bernadette played by Beth Holmes
Oliver played by Euan Kitson
