BY THE PUN LOVIN’ CRIMINALS

They’ve been the house band for Scotland’s premier word play competition, The Champipunship, for six years. They’ve created such classic pun based musical mashups as: Van Morrissey, Sigur Bros and The Randy Newman League. Now The Pun Lovin’ Criminals have finally succumbed to public pressure and will perform a set of their greatest hits at Shedinburgh.

Fronted by writer performer and Edinburgh Fringe regular Gary McNair, (three times winner of the Scotsman Fringe First Award) and featuring internet sensation Brido Hingwy, expect a night of puns, music and laughs.

Like camping, it will be intense.

★★★★★ “Joyously funny” The Stage (for ‘Square Go’)

★★★★★ “Clever, pun-tastic and hilarious show” The Herald (for ‘McGonagall’s Chronicles’)

★★★★ “This show is a genuine pleasure” The Guardian (for ‘A Gambler’s Guide To Dying’)

Performers: Gary McNair, Brian O’Sullivan, Gordon Turner, David Carroll
