My booking confirmation/e-ticket hasn’t arrived, what should I do?

Please make sure you double-check your spam and junk folders. If you still haven’t received it, please get in touch with us by emailing [email protected].

Do I need to collect/print my tickets?

No, all of our events are e-ticketed, you do not need to collect printed tickets. Your booking confirmation email will include a QR code, which will be scanned by our front of house team when you arrive at the venue.

Can I buy tickets when I arrive at the venue?

You can buy tickets at the venue, however we recommend that you buy tickets online in advance as we expect demand to be high for all shows.

A limited number of standing tickets will be released 24 hours before the performance.

Can I get a refund?

We operate a no refunds policy as standard.

What if I’m running late?

We cannot guarantee latecomer admission, but will do our best to get you in. Most shows in our programme will have a set latecomer point 5-10 minutes in, beyond which point there will be no further admission. With that in mind, please leave plenty of time to make your way to the venue.

THE VENUE

What is the venue address?

This year, Shedinburgh is coming to both Edinburgh and London. During the Fringe, you can find us at Assembly Checkpoint, a very short walk from Bristo Square. The address is: 3 Bristo Place, Edinburgh, EH1 1EY. Then in the Autumn, Shedinburgh will be resident at the Young Vic Theatre, in the Maria Studio. The nearest tube stations are Waterloo and Southwark, and the address is: 66 The Cut, London, SE1 8LZ.

Are children allowed in your venue?

We ask that you do not bring children below 5 to our venue for both your comfort and safety and that of fellow audience members. Our shows have individual age ratings – please check your performance listing before booking tickets for children, as many shows are 16+ or 18+.

Do you have food and drink to purchase at your venues?

In Edinburgh we have a bar on site, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The venue sits above the restaurant Uncle Tiger, where you can grab a bite to eat pre-show.

In London, the Cut Bar inside the Young Vic serves a wide range of food and drink options. You can find out more here.

Can I choose my seat?

Seating is unreserved. Our Front of House Staff will direct you on where to sit when entering the venue. Queues generally start between 30 mins and 15 mins before show start times.

If you have specific seating requirements you can let us know in advance by emailing [email protected] or speaking to a member of staff on arrival at the venue.
